Our adventure began on an overcast Friday afternoon, with a scenic drive through winding country roads.

As we arrived at Tregantle Farm Eco Glampsite, we couldn’t help but marvel at the stunning sea views and fields of open space. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Michele, our friendly host, with sunny smiles and even warmer hugs, instantly making us feel welcome and at home.

Michele showed us to our safari tent, and it was everything we had imagined and more. The tent was beautifully decorated with boho charm, featuring comfortable beds, stylish decor, and a wood burner for chilly nights. The private outdoor seating area offered the perfect setting for enjoying a cup of coffee (or a beer) and a good book.

Tregantle Farm Eco Glampsite boasts a range of amenities, including BBQ facilities, a well-equipped kitchen, ample parking, a shower and washroom. As well as eco-friendly initiatives, such as compost toilets, recycling, and solar power. Onsite activities include board games, a small selection of adult and children’s books, buckets and spades for the beach, nets for rock pool adventures, Swingball, Connect Four and more. The attention to detail was evident in every corner of the glampsite.

On Saturday morning, we were treated to a hearty breakfast hamper featuring locally sourced eggs, fruit and pastries, a cold meat and cheese platter, home-made gluten free muesli, fresh yoghurt, fruit juice, and freshly brewed coffee; which we chose to enjoy around the kitchen table. The hospitality at Tregantle Farm Eco Glampsite was exceptional.

The attention to detail and the personal touches made us feel truly special.

During our stay, we played a few rounds of Swingball and enjoyed a competitive game of Connect Four. We explored the nearby walking trails and local dog-friendly beaches with Harley (who absolutely loved the fresh air and freedom). One of the highlights was a cozy evening spent lounging around the wood burner, playing board games, laughing, and sharing stories. With all the available activities, we barely even noticed that there was no Wi-Fi.

The location of Tregantle Farm Eco Glampsite is ideal for exploring stunning coastal walks, charming fishing villages, and beautiful beaches. For a perfect stay, we recommend bringing towels, a battery charging pack for your devices, wellies/boots for muddy walks, soft slippers for indoors, and charcoal for your BBQ.
